With its 80 000 inhabitants, this provincial city lies at the crossroads of numerous motorways, canals and rivers. Due to its strategic position in the south of West Flanders, the city has a rich history of prosperity and decline. 80 years after the devastating Allied bombing, we can see that Kortrijk has grown into a shimmering city on the Leie.
