house of planopli
our name is a weaving together of 'plan', 'panoply' and 'pli'
plan is a design, a setup, an intention — and the level at which something is situated.
panoply stands for a complete and impressive array of outstanding examples.
pli refers to a folded piece of fabric, paper or cardboard, or to a section in a publication.
our color is an invitation to look further
In architecture, the blueprint marks the beginning: the quiet stage in which nothing is yet fixed and everything is still possible.
In writing, it lives on in ink, where reflections slowly take shape.
In cartography, blue is the color of navigation, where being on the way matters more than arriving.
our people are an amplification of talents
A travel curator is your fixed point of contact for the entire journey: from the first ideas to the last day on the road. Together with our operations staff member Geert, that curator makes all preparations, and thus has both the substantive and logistical knowledge of a trip fully in hand. For nearly every trip, the substantive part is further strengthened by a freelance expert with specific knowledge for that destination and that specific theme.
Dominique, Eva and Dirk also set the course for the substantive quality of planopli's trips as creative, strategic and curatorial leaders, respectively.
planopli plans architecture trips and pleats logbooks, thereby elevating an impressive array of outstanding examples from this and previous centuries to a higher level.
