Loes Decruynaere

Loes graduated as an architect from KU Leuven, campus Sint-Lucas Ghent in 2018. After working for six months at Dierendonckblancke architecten as part of their architecture exhibition at Bozar, she completed a two-year internship at jo taillieu architecten. She continued to work there for the next two years on various architectural projects, including furniture, housing and public buildings.

For Loes, the year 2023 was marked by the realisation of an exhibition (1982 days as an artist) and a book (Pure Henri) featuring the work of the young deceased artist Henri B Defauw. She became president of the non-profit organisation of the same name. A very personal and at the same time professionally enriching project.

The diverse knowledge and experience she has amassed over the last few years come together nicely for Loes at planopli where, as a travel curator, she helps organise and guide architecture and art tours.
