Mira De Cleen

Mira is an architect who studied at the University of Antwerp. During her studies, she developed a broad interest in how we think, talk and write about architecture. For her master’s thesis, she spoke with four Flemish architects who, each from a different perspective, still manage to combine theory and practice — an investigation into the writing architect.

Since graduating in 2020, she moved from the Linker- to the Rechterscheldeoever and currently works as an architect at Stramien cv in Antwerp. At the same time, she continued to seek deeper understanding and exchange outside her daily practice. She found this at planopli, where she can combine her love of travel, architecture and human contact. As a travel curator and guide, she wants to take people on a journey through the big and small stories that make architecture so fascinating, and meet others along the way who share the same curiosity.
